Using the IP Gate 2000 Functional Group data can be transmitted to and from a LAN. Together with the internal gateway module, IP can be packed into any WAN Protocol, this functionality allows the conversion of IP into any WAN protocol and visa versa.

The simple connection of any non IP-capable devices is therefore possible. Using the internal bus system of the DCC System 3 it is possible to transmit to any other Funktional Group within the system.
