ALPHA Com sync
The multiprotocol Comserver and Lan Modem
The ALPHA Com sync is a solution for connecting synchronous terminals to a Ethernet/IP-Network environment.
The ALPHA Com async has a 10/100BaseT Ethernet interface and on the user side is equipped with a serial synchronous
interface (V.24).
Apart from the usual routing functions the ALPHA Com sync. has an integrated X.25 gateway module (XoT). Using this,
X.25 data can be transmitted via an IP network.
Additionally customer specific user-protocols can be implemented on the ALPHA Com sync. enabling IP access to various
terminal equipment.
The ALPHA Com sync. can be monitored and configured using the network management system NetMACS.
The ALPHA Com sync offers a variety of applications using the network management system NetMACS
