Long Term Evolution (LTE) – The Next Generation Mobile Network.
LTE, the 4th generation radio connectivity, provides downlink peak rates of at least 100 Mbps and improves latency time.

TDT is getting prepared to build a LTE Version of the C1550.
The router is expected to be available from the 2nd quarter of 2010 onwards.

It's decided!

Germany's fourth largest lottery company the Toto Lotto Niedersachsen GmbH (Lower Saxony) has decided for TDT's high-end mobile VPN routers.

Thereby the LOTTO Niedersachsen are for the first time focussing on a wireless communications medium with the implementation of their new network topology. From around 2350 lottery agencies ca. 1300 will have a »mobile« in other words GPRS connection, the remaining locations will have »custom« DSL mit GPRS als Backup genutzt. DSL and GPRS as backup.

The high availability and quality of the Germany's mobile network together with TDT's modern router technology have enabled this concept for the first time. The high security network will be installed by the end of 2010 bringing significant cost savings.

The router for the complete network is TDT's C1500u.

New! C1550 with integrated 4-port switch

TDT has extended the successful C1500 router series with the C1550 router series.

The C1550 router series provides a 4-port 10/100 BaseT ethernet switch and 1 ethernet port 10/100 BaseT for WAN connectivity (e.g. DSL).

In addition the C1550 is equipped with 8 leds which can be freely defined (e.g. indication of the 3G field strength). The router series will be in stock soon.

New Feature: Configuration via SMS

The TDT routers C1500, C2000, M3000 und G5000 got another innovative Feature. Starting with firmware x.6.6 the TDT routers provide SMS operability. For example if necessary a reboot can be performed, or the state of an IPSec VPN tunnel can be requested.

Application examples:

• Checking 3G+ modem state
• Uptime, how long is the router "up" and running?
• Request IPSec states
• Start/stop a PPP connection
• Show/change IP addresses
• Enable/disable SMS feedback
• Reboot
• and much more

The router can be configured completely via SMS.

Mit MdL Gertraud Goderbauer auf Informationsbesuch bei dem Altheimer High-Tech-Unternehmen.

Landshut/Altheim Bei einem Informationsbesuch in der Zentrale des Altheimer High-Tech-Unternehmens TDT GmbH betonte Staatsminister a. D. MdL Erwin Huber, dass auch im Konzert der Großen mittelständischen Unternehmen Chancen eingeräumt werden müssen. Aus diesem Grund sind öffentliche Ausschreibungen mittelstandsfreundlich gestaltet.

Im Gespräch mit TDT Geschäftsführer Michael Pickhardt, der neben Erwin Huber auch die Landshuter Landtagsabgeordnete Gertraud Goderbauer willkommen heißen konnte, nannte es der ehemalige Staatsminister für Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Infrastruktur und jetzige Vorsitzende des Wirtschaftsausschusses des Bayerischen Landtags, als außerordentlich wichtig, High-Tech-Unternehmen mit einer weltweiten Ausstrahlung, Entwicklungs- und Ausbildungskompetenz wie TDT in Niederbayern zu haben. Schon mehrmals begleitete Herr Pickhardt Erwin Huber auf diversen Auslandsreisen als Delegationsmitglied (Indien, Russland).

Bei einem Rundgang durch den modernen Betrieb präsentierte Michael Pickhardt den Politikern die neuesten Produkte aus der TDT Entwicklung.

Hierbei betonte Pickhardt, dass nur die qualitative Einheit von Entwicklung, Produkt, Marketing/Vertrieb und Service letztlich den geschäftlichen Erfolg sichere.

30 years TDT

InfoTerminal

The terminal is equipped with an integrated Internet browser with a virtual touchscreen keyboard, card reader and all necessary communication interfaces. C1500

The C1500 is based on multiprotocol router platform which gets its flexibility from a modular design. It has been optimized for small and medium size business environmnets. As a high speed VPN access router or a VPN gateway.
