Decoding of FMS Telegrams and Alarm Tones


TDT's FMS monitor is used to decode FMS telegrams and alarm tones (DMTF, POCSAG, ZVEI, so-called 5 tone melody) on BOS (Public Authorities and Organizations Responsible for Safety Duties) radio frequencies.

These signals modulated on radio frequencies are received by signalling receivers, sirens, radio equipment, etc. and trigger the corresponding action.

To evaluate the signal sequences a suitable receiver is connected to the headphone output of the FMS Monitor and displayed on any connected pc monitor.

The output texts are freely configurable and can therefore be adapted to suit the local circumstances.

The USB interface enables the storage of the complete software including the recorded data to a USB storage medium (e.g. USB stick).
